Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for cat owners and anyone who works with cats on a professional basis. This course will be of particular interest to vets, breeders, veterinary nurses or trainee veterinary nurses with an interest in animal behaviour.
What Will I Learn?
The course will cover the following areas:
- An introduction to cat behaviour problems, e.g. what constitutes a 'problem behaviour', how to recognise one, how to approach the subject
- History taking, the use of house maps, etc
- Basic advice for the more common behavioural problems
You will leave the course better understanding many of the
common feline behavioural problems.
How Will I Learn?
The course allows you to participate in interactive online learning at a time and place that suits you. The course runs inside any standard web browser so no special technical knowledge is required - if you can browse the web you are ready to learn! The support team will also be on hand to help and guide you.
The course starts with a one-week induction, allowing you to become familiar with the online system and to meet the other participants. The course itself runs for five weeks. Vicky will be online during these five weeks to answer your questions and join you in discussions on set topics based on the materials.
Please note: This course does not constitute a qualification or license to practise as an animal behaviour counsellor. You will receive a certificate of completion after successfully taking part in the course.
