This module is required for all candidates who are aiming to achieve the general Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, as well as the designated certificates. It can also be taken as a free-standing module.

The next induction will be held on 30th August 2010 to help you become familiar with the online system.
Enrolling for assessment in the R(D)SVS will give you access to an online support environment to assist you in achieving your assessment. This online environment includes the following:
- Contact with assessors and other CertAVP participants
- Recommended reading and online resources to allow self-study in all areas of this module
- Online discussions, with input from assessors about essay topics and assessment criteria
- An online portfolio with case templates and other resources
- An electronic learning diary to record your evidence, cases and experience to assist with study for other modules
