Course Description
The course covers the key areas of abdominal surgery and hernia repair set out in the RCVS C Module, Soft Tissue Surgery C-SAS3 syllabus and will aid self-directed learning in preparation for completing this module.
However, it also offers stand-alone CPD for practitioners wanting to move beyond the basic techniques of small animal soft tissue surgery.

You will leave up-to-date and confident to explore new surgical techniques. The experience and expertise of the dedicated clinicians involved in the training will inspire and motivate you to broaden your personal surgical boundaries.
Over the two days, the following topics will be covered in depth:
- Hernias and body wall defects
- Exploratory coeliotomy
- Genitourinary surgery
- Gastrointestinal surgery
- Splenic and hepatobiliary surgery
