This one of two weekend courses aimed at vets wanting to develop their soft tissue surgery skills. They will be of interest to general practitioners interested in soft tissue surgery as well as supporting those studying for the RCVS Modular Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice.
Course outline:
The content is based around the module C-SAS.2 Soft Tissue Surgery, covering the key areas and aiding self-directed learning for further study.
Key areas:
- Wound management
- Reconstructive and oncological surgery
- Ear surgery
- Oral surgery
- Surgery of the respiratory tract
You will leave up-to-date and confident to explore new surgical techniques in all of the above areas. The experience and expertise of the dedicated clinicians involved in the training will inspire and motivate you to broaden your personal surgical boundaries.
