This module is relevant to a number of species and discipline based modular certificates, such as small animal practice, anaesthesia, cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging and reproduction, and can also be taken as a stand alone module, in conjunction with the B-Clinical Key Skills module (B-CKS.0)

The B-Small Animal Practice module is required for all candidates who are aiming to achieve a small animal 'designated' certificate. It may also be taken in conjunction with other B modules for those who work in mixed practice.

Enrolling for assessment in the R(D)SVS will give you access to an online support environment to assist you in achieving your assessment. This online environment includes the following:

  • Contact with other CertAVP SAP participants; practice, medicine and surgery
  • An online portfolio with case templates and other resources
  • An electronic learning diary to record your evidence, cases and experience
  • Reading lists, sample learning diaries and other appropriate support materials

The next induction date is listed on the Small Animal Practice homepage.
