Candidates who are undertaking one of the designated certificates must take a final synoptic assessment once all the required modules have been passed. In most cases this will take the form of an oral and/or practical examination.

At present, Edinburgh is offering a synoptic assessment for Zoological Medicine. Other synoptic assessments may be offered in the future.

Details on applying for other synoptic assessments are provided on the RCVS website. You can apply once you have successfully passed all the modules for your designated certificate.
