Cost of Assessment
Registration for assessment of your first module (A-PKS.1 - Professional Key Skills) will cost £550.
This will include access to our online community where you will be able to:
- join other vets studying for certificates on our discussion boards
- have access to the University of Edinburgh Library
- take free online courses on time and stress management
- develop an online portfolio
For assessment of all subsequent modules the cost is £500 per module.
B-CKS.0 - Clinical Key Skills is automatically included with your subject-specific B module choice at no extra cost. If you have already completed your B-CKS.0 module at another institution the subject-specific B module price will not be reduced.
Please note: there is no reduction in cost if you decide to pay for all your Edinburgh modules together. Total cost for assessment of an entire certificate (i.e. A, B and 3 C modules) is £2,550.
Please note: if you wish to apply for a designated certificate, you need to sit a synoptic assessment. The current cost of this assessment is £725 and this is not included in the CertAVP cost listed above.
At present, Edinburgh is offering a synoptic assessment for Zoological Medicine. Other synoptic assessments may be offered in the future.
Details on applying for other synoptic assessments are provided on the RCVS website. You can apply once you have successfully passed all the modules for your designated certificate.
