Online CPD Assessment Information
We are in the process of attaining RCVS accreditation to assess many of the RCVS Cert AVP modules, including C-SAM.2 and C-SAM.5. Once approved, we will be able to offer assessment for these modules with a 10-credit University of Edinburgh award for the successful candidates. This award will be recognised by the RCVS as counting towards the new RCVS certificate.
The modules will be assessed by:
- A learning diary provided through our e-portfolio system where you can record your experiences over the period that the module is being completed.
- A case book of three cases, each of up to 1,500 words in length.
- A reflective essay, of about 800 words, completed at the end of the module.
Once we have RCVS accreditation you will be able to register to be assessed for these modules. The assessment fee has not yet been finalised. We plan to offer a reduced assessment fee for vets enrolled in or having completed our online courses. You can access the General Guidance for Modules from the RCVS by clicking this link.
