Anna Meredith graduated from Oxford University in 1986 and in veterinary medicine from Cambridge University in 1991.
Since 1992 she has been Head of the Exotic Animal and Wildlife Service at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, and Head Veterinary Surgeon for the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland. She holds the RCVS Diploma in Zoological Medicine and is an RCVS Recognised Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, and recipient of the BSAVA Blaine Award.
Anna lectures and has published widely in the field of exotic animal medicine, and is co-editor of both the BSAVA Manual of Exotic Pets and the Manual of Rabbit Medicine and Surgery. Her current research interest is emerging infectious disease in UK wildlife.
