CertAVP Professional Key Skills
This module is required for all candidates who are aiming to achieve the general Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, as well as the designated certificates. It can also be taken as a free-standing module for those wishing to develop their professional skills.
Enrolling for the A module at the R(D)SVS will give you access to a complete online course to assist you in achieving your assessment.
Assessment is normally held annually on 28 February and September.
The induction dates for 2012 are 6th February, 4th June and 1st October. The induction is designed to help you become familiar with the online system.
PLEASE NOTE: the closing dates for registration are 1st February, 30th May and 26th September, respectively. Registrations after this point will be forwarded to the next induction.
Candidates working towards the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice will need to complete the A-Professional Key Skills module, the B-Clinical Key Skills module, and one other B and three C modules, depending on their chosen interest. Upon completion of all the necessary modules, a further synoptic oral assessment will also be required for anyone wishing to achieve a designated certificate.
